After Ek Tha Tiger, Katrina's second film of the year, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, which additionally toplines Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma is also likely to be banned in Pakistan.
The Yash Chopra directorial shows Shah Rukh Khan as an Indian army officer fighting in Kashmir, which hasn't gone down well with the authorities in Pakistan (who would probably prefer a film glorifying Kasab mowing down innocent civilians in Mumbai).
The film's trailer was banned from being screened on the Pakistan TV channels.
"The film may get banned in Pakistan because it involves Shah Rukh Khan in an army operation in Kashmir. The trailer too has been stopped from being screened on various TV channels in Pakistan. The movie shows SRK as part of a bomb disposal squad in the Indian Army who is up to some serious action in Kashmir, which may be the reason it might be banned," a source told TOI.
The Kabir Khan directorial, Ek Tha Tiger, headlining Salman Khan and Katrina was banned because Katrina was shown as an ISI agent in the film.
Earlier, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan's Agent Vinod was banned in the country because Kareena was featured as a spy from Pakistan.
Jab Tak Hai Jaan, due for release on November 13, is yet to be presented to the Pakistan censor board.
