After all, it’s the Bollywood actress’ birthday today, and with her topping several polls recently – from being voted kiddie fave to being announced as the world’s sexiest woman — she has much to celebrate.
The actress, who’s on a roll, is also working with the Khan troika — Salman in Ek Tha Tiger, Aamir in Dhoom 3 and Shah Rukh Khan in Yash Chopra’s film. But ask about her plans for the day and Katrina reveals that a break is the last thing on her mind today. “There are no plans as such this year and it will be a quiet birthday. There are too many professional commitments I need to fulfill, so I will be working today,” says Katrina.
A close friend of the actor adds that she has been shooting for 18 hours a day since the past few months. “In fact, she has not made any change in her schedules to accommodate her birthday either. So it will be a working birthday for Katrina,” says the close friend.
“Katrina prefers to have quiet birthdays, though they turn out to be anything but that. Her friends insist that she should take it easy and take a break at least on her birthday,” adds the friend.
To top it all, the actor’s house is at present under renovation, so she’s not even having friends over for any birthday celebration. Talking about her plans for the day, another insider reveals that she has a choc-a-bloc day ahead. “She is dubbing for Ek Tha Tiger, followed by rehearsals for a song in the Yash Chopra film. That apart, she is also training for Dhoom 3, for which she leaves for Chicago sometime, next week,” reveals the source.
As for her friends, specifically good friend Salman planning a surpise bash for the actor like he is known to do almost every year, the insider reveals that nothing is on the cards as yet.And if it’s a surprise then Salman will make sure that it remains a surprise right till the end. “But it’s likely that they with their set of friends and family will have a get together over dinner much later in the night, probably in Bandra like in the past,” adds the source.
There’s also buzz about actor Ranbir Kapoor being invited to this bash, though the actor’s close friends prefer to remain mum.
